Original Classic 4 pcs Matryoshka dolls have traditional straight shape. These dolls are painted in traditional Semenov style - the most popular and well known design of Matryoshka. The artists use traditional technologies and materials and follow the process that is carefully studied and developed in Semenov city until our days. You can buy Semenov Matryoshka in two colors: with red top and yellow bottom or with yellow top and red bottom.

Semenov Matryoshka nesting dolls are made in Semenov (Nijny Novgorod region of Russia), which is motherland of Russian Matryoshka. People there create Russian folk art for many generations, and even children like to play in making Babushka dolls, like their parents do - this is how new artists grow from their childhood. Our factory is situated in the same region, and we are always in touch with these talented artists. We are ready to supply as much Semenov style dolls as you need.
Blank dolls are turned of dry linden wood by professional artisans at our factory. The wood is dried for 3 years before it comes to turners, so that it becomes strong and saves its shape well. We use high quality German turning machines to provide best quality of woodwork. The blanks then are hand painted by artists. As there are hundreds of artists at our factory in Voznesenskoye, they create a great range of different styles. Painted dolls are covered by several layers of safe varnish, which makes Matryoshkas bright and shiny and defends the painting from damages.
Packaging & Shipping
We bring nesting dolls and other wooden crafts from Russia and store them at our European warehouse (Prague, Czech Republic). This helps us to provide quick and easy shipping to any part of world. We ship your orders in 1-2 days after we receive the payment by well known shipping services (TNT, UPS and so on), always looking for better delivery cost to save your money. The items are packed carefully in the boxes to provide perfect balance between volume+weight (important for cheaper shipping) and safety of the souvenirs during delivery.
